Picture Perfect: Part 2

Hi everyone!

I’m glad you’re here for Part 2 of my Picture Perfect Series! I said in Part 1 of this series that I would give y’all great ideas for ways to use picture frames that you may not have ever thought of! So, what could the next idea possibly be?

GO PICTURELESS

Some of you may be wondering what I mean by that. Take it literally! Display your frames without pictures to be used as decor!

I’ll show you how effortless this is!

Step 1

Gather a few frames that complement each other. I chose three frames of varying sizes and colors, but made sure they would work well together. I already owned two of them, and purchased the third for $5 from Wal-Mart

Step 2

I chose to keep the picture in the middle frame and use the frames with color as accent pieces. All you have to do is remove the backs from each of the colorful frames and display on a shelf or bookcase.

You can choose how you display your frames and make it your own! I chose to display mine on a bookshelf with my Jackie Kennedy Book Collection. I chose colors that complemented each other, as well as the book covers they would accompany.

I think the key to going pictureless is choosing frames of varying size. This look would also be great on a larger scale if displayed on a large shelf or open counter space in a living room or bedroom. Don’t be afraid to experiment and make the look your own!

Stay tuned for Picture Perfect Part 3!

  1. Nice match! The red, black & white, and brown colors do go well with your book collection. I will buy photo frames with colors matching my book collections next time! :) thanks for the “class”!
